Anne majored in English literature at Northwestern College in Orange City Iowa because she though reading books was a great way to spend four years. After graduation in 2011 she went on to be a CSA farm apprentice, work as a stitcher in theater, nanny children and work in multiple coffee shops. She began editing entirely by accident in 2015 when her mother asked her to read a mystery novel she’d been writing. The first moment she inserted a comment into the manuscript she thought, “This is all I ever want to do. Can I get paid for this?” It has been her pleasure to spend the intervening years honing her skills and working with writers. She is extremely gratified that the first novel she edited was recently picked up for publication.

Lisa Pelissier lives in Oregon where she is a homeschool mother of four and self-published author of two middle-grade fiction novels. She also owns SneakerBlossom Books, offering Christian, classical homeschool study guides and curriculum. Lisa graduated from Biola University in 1992 with a B.A. in Christian Education with dual emphases in music and elementary education. Lisa worked as an editor and analyst for Kelley Blue Book for 26 years before devoting herself full-time to writing. In her spare time Lisa enjoys making art, playing the piano, and fretting about things over which she has no control.
